Ant Intl Wraps up Series of HKD Interbank Real Transactions via EnsembleTX with HSBC HOLDINGS and Other Banks
2026-11-03 14:51:46 Ant International completed a series of real HKD interbank transactions over the past two months through the HKMA's EnsembleTX tokenized deposit transactions, achieving real-time interbank liquidity management with major banking partners including BOC HONG KONG (02388.HK), CCB Asia and HSBC HOLDINGS (00005.HK). The transactions were executed through tokenized deposits backed by the HKMA's Central Bank Money (CeBM). The transactions were initiated via WhaleRTP, Ant International's self-developed blockchain-based real-time settlement platform. The entire process from payment instruction to final receipt was completed seamlessly within five minutes, enabling instant fund settlement.
