CN Solicits Opinions on First Batch of Domestic Product Standards for Govt Procurement; Domestic Cost Ratio for Industrial Robots Must be 70%
2026-11-02 10:59:10 China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) and Ministry of Finance (MOF) publicly solicited opinions on the first batch of domestic product standards for government procurement, covering five products including portable Fourier transform infrared gas analyzers, reverse osmosis water treatment equipment, field emission scanning electron microscopes, fixed multi-joint industrial robots and small-to-medium helicopters. According to the draft for consultation, the document clearly defines product specifications, lists of first-tier and second-tier components, the proportion of component costs produced within China, requirements for key parts and key production processes to be produced or completed within China, as well as a transition period before implementation after the standards are introduced. Taking fixed multi-joint industrial robots as an example, the draft proposes a list of four first-tier components and 19 second-tier components, requiring the ratio of component costs produced within China to total product costs to be no less than 70%. Processes including precision machining of reducers, insulation treatment for servo motor winding manufacturing and printed circuit board surface mounting must be completed domestically. The standards will take effect three years after promulgation. ~ AASTOCKS Financial News Website: www.aastocks.com | |
