NPC Standing Committee to Convene 25th Session in Beijing from Next Mon to Fri
2026-10-30 16:07:34 The Legislative Affairs Commission of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress (NPC) held a press conference today (30th), CCTV reported. Spokesperson Huang Haihua said that the 74th Chairpersons' Council meeting of the 14th NPC Standing Committee decided that the 25th session of the 14th NPC Standing Committee will be held in Beijing from next Monday to Friday (November 2 to 6). The Chairpersons' Council proposed that the 25th session of the 14th NPC Standing Committee review draft laws on procuratorial public interest litigation, Antarctic activities and environmental protection, revisions to the Water Law, anti-cross-border corruption, state-owned assets, and finance; review a bill submitted by the Chairpersons' Council of the NPC Standing Committee on amendments to the Criminal Procedure Law; review a proposal submitted by the NPC Environment and Resources Protection Committee on revisions to the Renewable Energy Law; and review proposals submitted by the State Council on revisions to the Tax Collection and Administration Law and draft amendments covering 15 laws including the Emergency Response Law. ~ AASTOCKS Financial News Website: www.aastocks.com | |
