PBOC Approves Visa Unit to Prepare for Bank Card Clearing Institution
2026-10-13 14:10:26 The People's Bank of China announced that it has approved Visa Information Technology (Beijing) Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of US credit card company Visa, to prepare for the establishment of a bank card clearing institution. The company is required to complete the preparation work within one year, after which it may submit an application for commencement of operations.
