HKEX Launches S&P 500 & HKEX Tech 100 Index with S&P Dow Jones Indices
2026-10-12 17:09:37 HKEX (00388.HK) announced the launch of the S&P 500 & HKEX Tech 100 Index, a new co-branded index developed in collaboration with leading index provider S&P Dow Jones Indices (S&P DJI). The index is designed to measure the performance of leading US-listed companies and largest technology companies listed in Hong Kong. Against this backdrop, the S&P 500 & HKEX Tech 100 Index brings together two complementary market exposures within a single benchmark. It combines the growth potential of Hong Kong’s technology and innovation companies with the scale and diversity of the US large-cap market, offering investors broader exposure across geographies, sectors and sources of growth.
