Xiaomi 17 Ultra Raises Prices by RMB1,000 Owing to Rising Procurement Costs of Core Components
2026-10-09 14:58:57 Xiaomi 17 Ultra smartphones have reportedly seen price increases across the entire lineup. Xiaomi customer service stated that the official launch price of the 17 Ultra standard version with 12GB+512GB storage was RMB6,999 according to data available in the backend system, while the 16GB+512GB version was priced at RMB7,499 and the 16GB+1TB version at RMB8,499. Current retail prices are subject to the official website, implying that Xiaomi's official website prices are now RMB1,000 higher than the initial launch prices. Customer service said the latest price increase was attributable to rising procurement costs of core components. Although the company has been trying to control the increase in memory prices, the rise still beat expectations, prompting the company to raise handset retail prices by a certain margin. XIAOMI-W (01810.HK) opened 0.76% higher today (9th). With gains expanding sharply afterward, it hit an intraday high of HKD25.84. The stock last reported at HKD25.66 in the afternoon session, up 8.45%, with trading volume of 184 million shares and turnover of HKD4.639 billion. ~ AASTOCKS Financial News Website: www.aastocks.com | |
