Counterpoint Research Projects Global Sub-USD200 Smartphone Shipments to Drop by 230M Units by 2030 from 2025

Global smartphone shipments priced below USD200 were expected to drop by more than 230 million units between 2025 and 2030, according to the latest smartphone shipment forecast by price segment released by Counterpoint Research.

Although overall smartphone market shipments are expected to recover to 2025 levels by the end of 2030, shipments in this price segment are projected to decline by about 40% compared with 2025.
