CN SASAC Forecasts Full-yr R&D Spending by Central SOEs to Breach RMB1T
2026-09-28 16:27:47 As of the end of August, the total assets of central state-owned enterprises of China reached RMB99.3 trillion, up 4.2% YoY, and were expected to reach a new level by the end of this year, Wang Shaofei, director of the Bureau of Financial Supervision and Operational Evaluation under the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC) of the State Council, said. In 8M26, the R&D expenditure intensity of central SOEs added by 0.1 ppt YoY, while R&D spending reached RMB591.23 billion, up 2.7% YoY. Full-year R&D spending was expected to break RMB1 trillion.
