At Least 8 Major Foreign Banks Reportedly Interested in Potential Merger With UBS
2026-09-28 15:42:43 At least eight major foreign banks have expressed interest in a potential merger with UBS Group, Swiss newspaper Blick reported. UBS responded that it would not comment on the speculation. The report cited sources as saying that UBS management has begun discussing ways to reduce the impact of Swiss regulation, including through a potential merger with a foreign bank.
