HK Electric's Oct Fuel Clause Charge Falls 1.4 Cents/ Electricity Unit MoM to 59.3 Cents
2026-09-25 15:55:04 HK Electric announced that the Fuel Clause Charge (FCC) for October will be 59.3 cents per unit of electricity, a decrease of 1.4 cents from that of September. Together with the Basic Tariff, HK Electric’s Average Net Tariff for October will be 187.2 cents per unit of electricity, representing a 0.8% decrease from September’s. A HK Electric spokesperson said that, owing to the “deferred effect” inherent in the monthly FCC adjustment mechanism, the FCC for October primarily reflects fuel costs incurred between June and August this year.
