2026-09-25 11:17:28 At the AI smart charging technology day held by GEELY AUTO (00175.HK) in Hangzhou, the company connected its battery, charging and infrastructure strategies, Jefferies said in a research report. Key highlights included a 2.2-megawatt charger, a 12C/6C battery roadmap, integrated thermal management and full lifecycle management solutions, as well as a 2027 target of 22,000 charging stations and 100,000 charging piles. The broker believed that the challenge shifted from technology to execution, particularly in power module supply, site availability and grid access. As BEV penetration tops 40%, charging experience is replacing driving range as the next competitive battleground. This launch materially narrows one of Geely's remaining product weaknesses. If execution is successful, the impact should be reflected in the group's overall BEV market share rather than a single star model. The broker maintained its Buy rating on GEELY AUTO with a target price of HKD32.8. ~ AASTOCKS Financial News Website: www.aastocks.com | |
