STARPLUS LEGEND to Open Stores in HK, Envisions K-pop to Become Second Growth Driver
2026-09-25 10:29:33 The world's first flagship store of Jay Chou's official anime IP “CHOUCHOU & FRIENDS” officially opened on 23 September at 558 East Nanjing Road in Shanghai. Franki Lai, Executive Director and CFO of STARPLUS LEGEND (06683.HK), said in an interview after the opening ceremony that K-pop is expected to become the company's second growth driver. The company is discussing further cooperation with South Korean boy band BIGBANG. Coinciding with the 20th anniversary of BIGBANG's debut, STARPLUS LEGEND will hold an IP exhibition with BIGBANG. The group will also explore more opportunities in the K-pop sector in the future. In addition, Lai revealed that, in line with trends among the younger generation, the group will launch more AI products, including interactive AI plush products.
