CGN POWER To Invest RMB70M to Form JV with CATL and Others to Advance Lufeng Units 3 and 4 Nuclear Power Project
2026-09-25 10:12:46 CGN POWER (01816.HK) announced that the board approved a resolution to enter into an equity cooperation investment agreement with CFHI, Lufeng Investment Holding, MINGYANG SMART ENERGY (601615.SH), Jiuli Group, Jiuli Hi-Tech Metals and Ningde Times Zhaoqing. Pursuant to the agreement, the parties will jointly establish a joint venture, Yueshan Nuclear Power, to carry out the development, construction and operation of the Lufeng Units 3 and 4 nuclear power project. Yueshan Nuclear Power will have an initial registered capital of RMB100 million. Among which, CGN POWER will contribute RMB70 million in cash and hold a 70% stake, while the other six parties will jointly contribute RMB30 million in cash and collectively hold a 30% stake.
