ByteDance Seals USD29.6B Loan Agreement with ICBC, HSBC HOLDINGS, Others
2026-09-14 15:59:36 ByteDance sealed a USD29.6 billion loan agreement with 28 banks including ICBC (01398.HK) and HSBC HOLDINGS (00005.HK), making it Asia's second-largest USD financing deal this year, behind only the USD40 billion bridge loan signed by SoftBank Group (9984.JP) in March. The loan reportedly has a tenor of three years and can be extended to five years. A total of 15 Chinese banks committed USD18.9 billion, accounting for 64% of the enlarged loan amount.
