Trump Calls on Ukraine to Stop Attacks on Russian Diesel Infra

US President Donald Trump called on Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to stop attacks on Russia's diesel infrastructure, saying the strikes are wreaking fuel shortages and eroding global energy supplies.

In recent months, Ukraine has launched a new wave of long-range drone attacks on Russian refineries, reducing Russia's fuel output and triggering nationwide gasoline shortages.

According to data from price tracking agency GasBuddy, the US national average diesel price breached USD6 per gallon for the first time last week. Trump publicly said he had asked Zelensky to stop attacking Russia's diesel infrastructure, arguing that Ukraine still has many other targets it could strike.
