CEO Julia Leung: SFC Studying Regulatory Guidelines for Institutional Use of AI Agents
2026-09-04 17:39:50 SFC Chief Executive Officer Julia Leung said at an event hosted by the Hong Kong Association of Banks that the SFC is studying further regulatory guidelines for agentic artificial intelligence (AI Agents). She noted that as use cases continue to grow among SFC-licensed corporations, AI is improving intermediaries’ efficiency, consistency and client service under proper controls.
