The HSTECH outperformed the broader market at 4,634, up 8 points or 0.19%. Leading techs were broadly higher. BIDU-SW (09888.HK) will convert to a primary listing on the Stock Exchange starting next Tuesday, with its share price soaring 6.66% by midday. TENCENT (00700.HK) gained nearly 1%, while MEITUAN-W (03690.HK) and NTES (09999.HK) fell more than 1%. XIAOMI-W (01810.HK) dropped more than 2%. NVIDIA Corporation (NVDA.US) reported quarterly results that beat expectations, with shares spiking nearly 5% in after-hours trading. Hong Kong-listed chip and AI hardware stocks followed higher. HUA HONG GRACE (01347.HK), which will become an HSI constituent, elevated 4.51% after the company reported a fourfold increase in interim profit. SMIC (00981.HK) climbed 2.94%; ILUVATAR COREX (09903.HK) rallied 6.34%; MONTAGE TECH (06809.HK) surged 10.29%; GIGADEVICE (03986.HK) advanced 6.85%; and ZJ INNOLIGHT (03308.HK) swelled 5%. Printed circuit board (PCB) and copper clad laminate (CCL) stocks ascended this morning alongside A-share peers. KB LAMINATES (01888.HK) leapfrogged 9.51%; KINGBOARD HLDG (00148.HK) spiked 7.3%; CFMEE (09630.HK) mushroomed 7.86%; HANS CNC (03200.HK) escalated 8.96%; and DELTON (01989.HK) advanced 5.5%.
