BABA-W Forges Co-op on AI, Cloud Computing, Smart Logistics with Guangdong Provincial Govt
2026-08-14 15:18:10 BABA-W (09988.HK) signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with the Guangdong provincial government, Nanfang Daily reported. The two parties will deepen strategic cooperation in areas including computing power infrastructure construction, integrated circuit industry collaboration, AI development, consumption quality enhancement and expansion, logistics system construction, cultural tourism consumption, and smart livelihood services. The cooperation is expected to focus on expanding key areas such as AI, cloud computing, e-commerce, smart logistics, cultural tourism travel, and public services. BABA-W CEO Eddie Wu said Guangdong has always been a core region in the group's strategic layout.
