The market was concerned about heightened investment in overseas markets, with JD ADRs falling 7.3% overnight, while its Hong Kong shares opened down 6.5% this morning. TENCENT (00700.HK) fell another 1.13%, while MEITUAN-W (03690.HK) and BABA-W (09988.HK) dropped more than 1%. Among blue chips, CK ASSET (01113.HK) made a HKD6 billion impairment on HUI XIAN REIT (87001.HK), with CK ASSET shares opening down 4.82%. LENOVO GROUP (00992.HK), which swelled 20% yesterday, opened down 4.24% this morning. JD LOGISTICS (02618.HK) dived 2.61%. CKH HOLDINGS (00001.HK) sagged 2.14% after the group said the operating environment in 2H26 remains challenging. JD HEALTH (06618.HK) mounted 3.09%. SMIC (00981.HK) logged a 261% surge in quarterly profit and opened up 4.74% this morning. MTR CORPORATION (00066.HK) added 1.73% after interim profit more than doubled. DeepSeek will raise API prices starting next Monday, boosting AI concept stocks.
