2026-08-07 15:09:27 Gold is still likely to remain supported amid the combined effects of macro factors including capital flows and demand for portfolio diversification, UBS Global Wealth Management CIO Office said in a report. Given fading US yields, a further waning of the USD and continued gold purchases by central banks, the bank continued to forecast that gold prices could elevate to USD5,000 per ounce in 1H27. Gold prices remained strong and climbed to the highest level since June. Spot gold was up 1.3% at USD4,296.7 per ounce, while New York gold futures for December delivery also added 1.2% to USD4,352 per ounce. ~ AASTOCKS Financial News Website: www.aastocks.com | |
