ByteDance Reportedly Plans To Train Large Model With 5T+ Parameters
2026-08-07 09:12:39 ByteDance is discussing training a model with more than 5T parameters, which will excel Alibaba's Qwen 3.8-Max (2.4T parameters) and Moonshot AI's K3 (2.8T parameters), and will become the largest known model by parameter scale in China so far, Chinese media, citing sources, reported. The plan remains at an early stage, and the model may ultimately not be released.
