2026-08-06 11:01:01 China's raw material gold production in 1H26 amounted to 152.91 tonnes, down 14.62% YoY; gold produced from imported raw materials reached 77.08 tonnes, up 4.62% YoY, latest statistics from the China Gold Association showed. Total gold production from domestic and imported raw materials amounted to 229.99 tonnes, down 9.01% YoY. In 1H26, overseas mining projects operated by major gold groups maintained overall stable operations with orderly capacity expansion. ZIJIN MINING (02899.HK)'s Akyem gold mine in Ghana and Raygorodok gold mine in Kazakhstan continued to contribute incremental output. Meanwhile, overseas producing mines of CHINA NATIONAL GOLD (600916.SH), SD GOLD (01787.HK) and Zhaojin Overseas maintained steady production growth. Overseas mines operated by major gold groups recorded mined gold output of 48.098 tonnes in 1H26, up 21.43% YoY. China's gold consumption in 1H26 amounted to 511.41 tonnes, up 1.23% YoY.
