BABA-W (09988.HK), JD-SW (09618.HK), BIDU-SW (09888.HK) and KUAISHOU-W (01024.HK) gained more than 1%. Auto stocks outshone. LI AUTO-W (02015.HK) leaped 10.11%, making it the best-performing blue chip at midday. GEELY AUTO (00175.HK) elevated 6.9%, whereas BYD COMPANY (01211.HK) swelled 4.62%. The South Korean stock market continued to plunge by 8%, triggering circuit breakers for two straight days. Following earnings, SK Hynix tumbled 10%, with HK-listed XL2CSOPHYNIX (07709.HK) nosedived 25.72% at midday. XL2CSOPSMSN (07747.HK) plummeted 16.75%. SMIC (00981.HK) collapsed 7.67%, making it the worst-performing blue chip at midday.
