2026-07-17 14:03:23 Regarding Hong Kong's property market, Shih Wing Ching, Founder of Centaline Group, said home prices have leapfrogged so far this year, climbing more than 10% in 1H26, and therefore opined that a total increment of 20% for the full year would not be unreasonable. He noted that the recent upward momentum has already slowed, while underscoring that prices will not take a deep plunge. Although fewer buyers are chasing prices, transaction prices remain elevated.
