CPCA Estimates CN NEV-PV Wholesale Reach 1.51M Units in Jun, Up 22% YoY
2026-07-03 11:14:54 The China Passenger Car Association (CPCA) announced that nationwide wholesale volume of passenger new energy vehicles (NEV-PVs) in June are estimated to number 1.51 million units, up 22% YoY and 12% MoM, achieving double-digit growth in both metrics and marking that the NEV sector has entered a clear recovery trajectory after an earlier adjustment period. The growth rate was noticeably higher than that of the overall auto market during the same period, with NEVs becoming the core driver of growth in the PV market. On the ride of accelerated electrification transformation by leading automakers and supportive consumer conditions, wholesale volume of NEVs at multiple major automakers set record highs for June, highlighting the effectiveness of domestic automakers' electrification transition.
