DIDA INC Leapfrogs 80%+ as TONGCHENGTRAVEL Proposes General Offer and Plans Special Dividend

It last quoted at HKD11.72, down 6.54%, with turnover of 3.4589 million shares, involving HKD41.198 million. TONGCHENGTRAVEL and DIDA INC jointly announced that eLong, Inc., a direct wholly-owned subsidiary of TONGCHENGTRAVEL, as the offeror, proposed a voluntary conditional general cash offer to acquire all issued shares of DIDA INC, cancel all outstanding share options and acquire all outstanding RSUs. The cash offer price is HKD1.3875 per share, representing a premium of approximately 9.25% over DIDA INC's closing price of HKD1.27 per share yesterday.
