S&P Global Energy: Hormuz Traffic Recovers to ~60% of Pre-Conflict Level
2026-06-26 09:49:02 S&P Global Energy released a report indicating that the average daily vessel traffic through the Strait of Hormuz this month has recovered to approximately 57% of pre-conflict levels. This Wednesday (24th), a total of 78 vessels passed through Hormuz, marking the highest single-day traffic record since the outbreak of the Iran conflict. As of Wednesday, a total of 551 vessels transited the Strait this month, putting it on track to become the month with the highest traffic volume since the conflict began.
