Macau Sees 380K Inbound Visitors Over Dragon Boat Festival Long Weekend; Tourism Sector Foresees Daily Arrivals to Exceed 120K During Summer Vacation
2026-06-22 11:08:34 Public Security Police Force of Macau announced that during the three-day Dragon Boat Festival long weekend (June 19-21), inbound visitor arrivals totaled approximately 380,000, mainly entering through the Barrier Gate, the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge checkpoint and the Hengqin checkpoint. On the final day yesterday (21st), inbound visitors reached 91,000. Andy Wu, Chairman of Travel Industry Council of Macau (TICM), voiced his confidence that full-year visitor arrivals will exceed 43 million, on the back of the implementation of multiple central government policies supporting Macau.
