SEMI Survey: Global Semis Equipment Sales Top USD36.5B in 1Q, Up 14% YoY, to Record Quarterly High
2026-06-12 09:53:10 Global semiconductor equipment sales whopped USD36.55 billion in 1Q26, up 1% QoQ and up 14% YoY, marking a record quarterly high, according to SEMI's Worldwide Semiconductor Equipment Market Statistics Report. In terms of regional ranking, South Korea toppled Taiwan to rank second globally. SEMI stated that the semiconductor equipment market in 1Q26 continued to benefit from strong investment momentum in AI. Semiconductor companies worldwide flocked to accelerate capacity expansion and technological upgrades.
