DJIA Futures Down ~200 pts; Europe Mkts Open Broadly Lower with DAX Down ~1%
2026-06-03 18:02:00 As markets were mindful of developments in Iran, US stock index futures were mixed. DJIA futures fell 199 pts or 0.4%, S&P 500 futures slipped 0.1%, while Nasdaq futures rose 0.1%. Major Asia-Pacific markets broadly advanced today (3rd), with Singapore, Japan and Taiwan bourses setting record highs. However, Hong Kong equities sank nearly 1.6%, and Indonesia's index dropped more than 4%, underperforming the region. Major European markets broadly declined in early trading today. The pan-European STOXX 600 lost 0.35% to 623.15. The UK FTSE 100 lowered 27 pts or nearly 0.3% to 10,345. France's CAC sank 24 pts or nearly 0.3% to 8,184. Germany's DAX slid 244 pts or nearly 1% to 24,879. Italy's FTSE MIB subsided 160 pts or 0.3% to 50,418.
