Citadel Securities Foresees S&P 500 to Hike 1.7%, USD to Fall 0.5%, if US-Iran Deal Inked
2026-05-29 14:08:30 Investors may be underestimating the possibility that the timely reopening of the Strait of Hormuz could spark a broad uptick in financial markets, Frank Flight, an analyst at Citadel Securities, said. There are currently two signs suggesting that the US and Iran are highly likely to reach a deal, including the restoration of Iran's internet services and the public appearances of senior military officials. If Hormuz is fully reopened before end-July, the 10-year US Treasury yield could sink by more than 12 bps, the S&P 500 could hike by 1.7%, and the USD could fade by 0.5%. ~ AASTOCKS Financial News Website: www.aastocks.com | |
