CALB Spikes 3%; CLSA: CALB Can Leverage XIAOMI Brand Recognition to Secure More Orders
2026-05-20 13:10:42 Xiaomi Auto introduced a new battery supplier, CALB (03931.HK), for its second brand "SKYNOMAD", Chinese media reported, citing sources. CALB last reported at HKD30.04 in the afternoon session, up 3.09%, with a turnover of 2.5503 million shares, involving HKD75.2907 million. CLSA said in a report that XIAOMI-W (01810.HK) will include CALB as one of the new battery suppliers for the upcoming third extended-range SUV under its new brand. CALB can leverage Xiaomi's market recognition to secure more battery supply orders from globally renowned EV brands. This will enhance the reliability of CALB's full-year shipment target and improve the visibility of its earnings forecast. The broker maintained its unchanged forecast for FY2026 earnings at RMB2.5 billion. The current share price implies an 18x 2026E PE, which it considered attractive.
