US Reportedly Turns Down Iran's Latest Proposal to End War; Intl Oil Prices Last Swell 3%

Spurred by the news, Brent oil futures for July delivery spiked 3.04% to USD108.8 per barrel, while New York oil futures for June delivery mounted 3.27% to USD104.48 per barrel. Iran proposed a two-phase plan to the US, report told. The first phase would end all battlefronts, and the second phase would allow the two countries to launch nuclear negotiations if Iran's conditions are met.
