CATL Once Up 5%+; JPM: Strategic Investment in VNET (VNET.US) Advances AIDC Energy Storage Ecosystem
2026-05-14 10:58:00 CATL (03750.HK) opened 4.01% higher today and once leaped 5.1% to a peak of HKD707.5. It last traded at HKD686, up 1.93%, with turnover of 3.2801 million shares, involving HKD2.282 billion. JP Morgan said that CATL is systematically building a vertically integrated AIDC energy storage ecosystem. Its strategic investment yesterday in VNET Group, Inc. (VNET.US) through an affiliated entity (up to a 38.1% stake, with a transaction value of approximately USD942 million) represents the most direct execution of this strategy.
