Alibaba Restructures AI Framework: Eddie Wu to Steer Technology Committee
2026-04-08 17:03:08 BABA-W (09988.HK) CEO Eddie Wu issued an internal letter announcing organizational reshuffle related to AI, including the establishment of a new Group Technology Committee and the upgrade of the Tongyi Large Model Division, in order to accelerate AI development, Jiemian.com reported. According to the internal letter, Alibaba set up a Technology Committee at the group level, chaired by Eddie Wu.
