2026-03-30 16:16:44 BIDU-SW (09888.HK), PONY-W (02026.HK), WERIDE-W (00800.HK), and DiDi (DIDIY.US) have all announced their Robotaxi expansion plans for 2026, according to a CLSA research report. In CLSA's estimation, a net increase of 5,000-8,000 vehicles will be seen in China's fleet, with most operational vehicles deployed in first-tier cities, and trial vehicles in top second-tier cities and the Greater Bay Area cities. Despite short-term geopolitical uncertainties in the Middle East, CLSA expects global expansion to accelerate. The broker has lowered its target price for Pony AI (PONY.US) from USD22 to USD20 but kept the Outperform rating unchanged.
