When visual occlusion occurs, tactile sensing is needed for intra-palm operations, but it is difficult to find a good full-palm coverage solution. The team adopted a different approach using tactile gloves that can be worn by both human and bionic hands. The same operations can yield similar tactile data, with the data collection efficiency much higher than remote operations.
