Tesla Faces Analysts' Lower Tweak on Sales Forecast; Full-Yr EV Deliveries Expected at 1.69M Units

Analysts lowered Tesla's (TSLA.US) electric vehicle (EV) sales forecast for 2026, reflecting a potentially slower-than-expected recovery in demand.

Based on estimates from 23 institutions, the company was projected to deliver approximately 1.69 million units by 2026, down from last December's forecast of 1.75 million units, but still slightly above the 1.64 million units delivered in 2025.

This marks the second time Tesla published analysts' preliminary forecasts on its website. Last quarter's actual sales also fell short of both company and market expectations.
