Iran allowed a total of 10 oil tankers to pass through the Strait of Hormuz this week as a 'gift' to the US, viewing it as a signal of good faith, US President Donald Trump said.

Trump stated during a cabinet meeting that Iran made such gesture to demonstrate its 'sincerity and stance' to the US, and hinted that there is still room for negotiation between the two sides.
