HKEX Evaluating Launch of Micro Futures for HSI, HSTECH in 4Q: Wire
2026-03-26 16:31:38 HKEX (00388.HK) is evaluating the launch of micro futures for the HSI and HSTECH to boost retail trading activity, Bloomberg reported, citing sources. Currently, HKEX offers futures and mini futures, with the latter being one-fifth of the futures and options contracts. By introducing futures products that are only one-fiftieth of the contract size, HKEX intends to make it easier for investors with less capital to participate in the market.
