Due to the Securities and Futures Commission of Hong Kong (SFC)'s investigation on CITIC SEC (06030.HK) and GUOTAI JUNAN I (01788.HK), some foreign institutions temporarily suspended trading cooperation with these two investment banks for compliance considerations, according to Chinese media.

CITIC SEC and GUOTAI JUNAN I have not commented. The report added that the impact of the investigation is spreading from the regulatory level to the business level.
