Boeing Reportedly Asks Suppliers to Assess Impact of Mideast Conflict on Supply Chain
2026-03-17 17:22:30 US aircraft manufacturer, Boeing (BA.US), has asked its suppliers to evaluate the production impact of the US-Israeli war on Iran, according to Reuters. Boeing recently sent a notice to suppliers asking companies involved in its commercial aircraft programs to list all operations in the Middle East, including those of sub-tier suppliers, by last Monday (9th), and to explain any operational impacts, the report noted. Although the Middle East is not a major hub for new aircraft parts manufacturing, suppliers like Strata in the UAE still produce components for Boeing's 787 Dreamliner jet, the report added. The US-Israeli war on Iran has disrupted flights and shipping, causing delays in the delivery of aircraft parts to Middle Eastern airlines. ~ AASTOCKS Financial News Website: www.aastocks.com | |
