European bourses descended in early session on Friday (13th), as escalating Mideast tensions and inflation concerns undermined risk appetite. For economic data, France's February inflation rose 1.1% YoY, in line, while the UK's economic growth for the three months ending January grew by 0.2%, a miss. The US will later release January's PCE inflation data.

Germany's DAX declined 235 points or 1% to 23,353. Spain's IBEX 35 slid 222 points or 1.3% to 16,917. Italy's FTSE MIB plunged 516 points or 1.2% to 43,940.

Oils elevated, with Shell up 0.8%, and TotalEnergies, BP, and Repsol up 1.3-1.8%. Consumer stocks were soft, with Inditex, Burberry, and Air France-KLM each diving over 3%, and Kering down 2.8%.

As to US stock futures, DJIA futures edged down 5 points to 46,716. S&P 500 futures dipped 2 points or 0.03% to 6,675. Nasdaq 100 futures sank 31 points or 0.1% to 24,528.
