PBOC: CN Financial Institutions' Liabilities/ Total Assets Hike 9%/ 8.7% YoY at End-4Q25
2026-03-13 16:16:19 Preliminary statistics indicate that, as at the end of 4Q25, the total assets of Chinese financial institutions amounted to RMB538.86 trillion, up 8.7% YoY, according to data released by the People's Bank of China (PBOC). Of which, the total assets of banking institutions were RMB480.01 trillion, up 8% YoY. During the period, financial institutions' liabilities amounted to RMB492.82 trillion, up 9% YoY.
