2026-02-16 12:06:24 According to a report from Goldman Sachs, BANK OF EAST ASIA (00023.HK)'s 2H25 net profit dropped by 57% YoY or 58% HoH to HKD947 million, 34% lower than the broker's forecast. This underperformance was mainly due to an additional impairment of HKD625 million on investment properties and a one-time loss recorded by BANK OF EAST ASIA's associate, Guotong Trust, operating in China.
