The Stoxx Europe 600 Index last added 0.5% at 624.7, having reached an intraday high of 625.9, marking a record high. The UK's FTSE 100 Index notched an intraday high of 10,535, a record high, and last posted at 10,499, up 27 points or nearly 0.3%. France's CAC Index hit an intraday high of 8,437, a record high, and last stood at 8,386, up 73 points or nearly 0.9%. Germany's DAX Index spiked by 314 points or nearly 1.3% to 25,170. Italy's FTSE MIB Index last printed at 46,700, up 189 points or 0.4%. Spain's IBEX 35 Index rose by 40 points or 0.2% to 18,084. Siemens raised its EPS guidance for this year to between EUR10.7 and EUR11 (previously EUR10.4 to EUR11). Its stock price mounted 6.4%. Hermes reported a 9.8% rise in revenue for the fourth quarter, with its stock price rising by 1.5%.
