HENDERSON LAND Foresees Central Flagship Project to Be Fully Completed in 5 Yrs, Green Energy Biz to Become Future Pillar
2026-02-12 17:57:47 HENDERSON LAND (00012.HK) Chairmen Lee Ka Kit and Lee Ka Shing, interviewed by Forbes Asia, revealed that the group's flagship project, Central Yards, at the new Central waterfront has so far pre-leased over 20,700 square meters, accounting for about 70% of the total office space. Lee Ka Shing stated that the project did not attract major tenants through sharp discounts, as rental agreements were signed at high-end market prices. The Central flagship project is expected to be fully completed within the next five years. Another chairman, Lee Ka Kit, predicted that the revenue contribution from the green energy business could match that of the real estate business in the next ten years, becoming another development pillar. Through the family office Full Vision Capital, he further invests in promising global green tech startups, having invested personal funds in 10 green tech startups.
