HK to Launch 1st Batch of Stablecoin Licenses Next Mth, Says John Lee

John Lee, Hong Kong's Chief Executive, said today (11th) at the opening ceremony of the Consensus Hong Kong conference that the Hong Kong Monetary Authority is actively processing license applications for stablecoin issuers, and the first batch of licenses is expected to be issued next month.
