DiDi Global Expects 45% Growth in Ride-Hailing Demand During CN Spring Festival Travel Rush w/ 4 Peak Periods Predicted
2026-02-06 16:47:14 DiDi Global (DIDIY.US) anticipated that, during the Spring Festival travel rush, the demand for ride-hailing services for returning hometown from another city and tourism in mainland China will increase by 45% from the figure recorded before the travel rush. The demand for rides to major transportation hubs such as airports and train stations is expected to rise by 40%, while the demand for rides to beauty salons and shopping malls or supermarkets is projected to increase by 67% and 49%, respectively. The Company estimated four peak periods for ride-hailing during the 40-day Spring Festival travel rush period.
