US Issues Security Alert for Iran, Urges US Citizens to Leave Immediately

The US Virtual Embassy in Iran issued a security alert today (6th) US time urging US citizens to leave Iran immediately, according to CNBC. Brent oil futures for April delivery last ticked up 0.5% to US$67.91.

The US and Iran will hold a meeting today in Oman, a Middle Eastern country. US Special Envoy Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, the son-in-law of US President Donald Trump, will attend the meeting. Iran's representative will be Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi.
